Documentation, scheduling, and billing in one place for Day Supports, Residential Services, and Targeted Case Management. Built in Kansas by people who run Kansas IDD agencies.
From Kansas,
for Kansas.
Our founders own two Kansas HCBS/IDD agencies. Both run on Lumavent.
Built by people who work with KanCare, KDADS waiver definitions, and K.A.R. 30-63 every day.
Day Supports, Residential Services, and Targeted Case Management.
Why Lumavent
In a lot of agencies, notes live in one place, claims live in another, and one person on staff knows how they're supposed to line up. When billed claims and supporting documentation don't match, those discrepancies can surface in MCO claims audits or MCO Special Investigations Unit reviews.
Meanwhile credentials and review dates get tracked in spreadsheets, and missing documentation tends to turn up right before a KDADS survey.
Lumavent brings documentation and billing into one connected record. Staff document during the shift, and claims are assembled from services already documented.
"Every hour a DSP spends fighting paperwork is an hour not spent with the person they support."Chris Lemon, co-founder and CFO

What Lumavent does
Documentation, scheduling, and billing, plus the compliance work that sits between them.
Shift notes and PCSP-linked service documentation for Residential and Day Supports, written during the shift on a phone. Guided shift notes ask one question at a time and save each answer as staff go.
Claims are assembled from services already documented, and billed units trace back to the notes behind them.
Units authorized, used, and remaining on one screen. Code and tier come from the active authorization; the rate from your rate schedule.
Track staff credential due dates and overdue items, keep PBSP review dates visible, and export an Averifi audit packet for staff records.
Publish the week when it's ready. Staff see their own schedule on their phone and can claim open shifts, with admin approval.
Guardians read the current plan and sign forms online. Your agency controls who gets access.
Also included: eMAR. Medication administration records in the same connected record.
For guardians
If the answer is phone calls, printed plans, and trips to your office, there's an easier way.

Start with documentation. We handle the data migration, and you pick when billing cuts over. Month-to-month terms are available.
We won't use it for our own agencies or share it with them, and if you ever leave, we'll export it for you.
Built by the people who need it
Lumavent was founded by people who own and lead Kansas HCBS/IDD agencies. We built it for our own agencies first, and our teams use it every day. We know the difference between a Progress Note and a Service Note, what a KDADS survey covers, and what an MCO claims audit checks.
"Agency after agency I've talked to in Kansas tells some version of the same story: documentation lives in one system, billing lives in another, and one person on staff is the only one who knows how they're supposed to line up. We built Lumavent to bring those together."
"We built it because we needed a system that fit the work: one where staff document once, during the shift, and get back to what matters most, which is the people we serve."

Lumavent Financial is the lender.
